Foodprint comes to Hunters Plaza

Hunters Plaza customers now have food rescue at their fingertips with the arrival of the food rescue app, Foodprint to the mall.

With the app, you’ll be able to rescue food from Dos Ihos BBQ, Trans Kitchen, Tenders Fried Chicken, Grace Eatery and Ducky Ice Cream & Drinks. These are the first five eateries in Hunters Plaza to have signed up to fight food waste.

All of the food on Foodprint is discounted by at least 30% off the regular price. The app shows you how much money you’ve saved and your emissions savings too! 

Download the free app and add these Hunters Plaza eateries to your favourites. Then you’ll receive push notifications when they have food available to rescue. When you see something you’d like, purchase it through the app and head to the mall to collect it from the eatery. It’s a great way to try something new from an eatery you haven’t tried before.

These eateries strive to minimise their food waste, but occasionally, things don’t go as planned, leading to a surplus and potential revenue loss. By using Foodprint, eateries can now have a backup solution on those days, allowing customers to support, reduce waste and save money. It’s a win all around for both the eateries and you!
